Morgan Shedd celebrates with family and friends

Johnathon Morgan Shedd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Shedd of Rayle, celebrated his second birthday on April 29 with a party at his home. His birthday was May 3.

Morgan was honored with a Thomas the Train theme party. His train cake, made by his mother and grandmother, Mrs. W. C. Bentley, was a replica of Thomas the Train. The engine was a Thomas the Train centerpiece. Trailing behind the engine were several "cake" cars including one carrying coal, one with logs, a passenger car and a little red caboose. Morgan enjoyed his own special cake that was topped with a train. Served with the train cake were ice cream and other party foods and drinks.

Favors were caboose train boxes filled with goodies and train whistles.

Joining Morgan and his parents were his brothers, Mil and Matt; grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. W. C. Bentley and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Shedd; Mrs. John Mack, J.T. and Mary Kathryn, Mr. and Mrs. Chip Bentley, Danielle and Aubrey, Wesley Lockhart, Mrs. Tim Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wright and Ava, Dr. and Mrs. Lester Johnston and Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Bearse, Colton and Whitney, Mrs. Jack Leard III and Kelsey, and Mrs. Jason Brock, Hunter and Levi.
