Hall recipient of Lincoln-Wilkes Retired Educators honorarium

Ruby Avery (left) presented the Lincoln-Wilkes Retired Educators Association honorarium to Lindley Hall at W-WCHS Honors Day.

Lindley Hall is the Wilkes County recipient of the Lincoln-Wilkes Retired Educators Association (LWREA) honorarium.

She submitted an essay on the topic, "The Importance of Furthering My Education." She is the daughter of Boyce and Pam Hall of Rayle and will be attending Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville.

Ruby Avery of the LWREA presented the award to the Wilkes County recipient.

Graduating seniors who attend school in Wilkes or Lincoln counties and who are planning to further their education beyond high school are encouraged to apply in the spring of their senior year. Information can be obtained from the school guidance counselor.

Lindley was also the recipient of the Comcast Leadership Scholarship and a National Wild Turkey Federation Scholarship.
