Author Rule's illness postpones local visit set for Friday night

Due to an unfortunate illness, author Ann Rule, author of Too Late to Say Goodbye, will not be in Washington as planned for a book signing this Friday.

The famed author has been suffering from pneumonia and although recovering, is still not well enough to make the Atlanta portion of her promotional tour.

According to a spokesman for Rule, the Washington book signing will be rescheduled and announced at a later date.
