Little River Charge sets 'unique send-off' for Rev. Craig Yoshihara The Little River Charge invites the community to help its members say farewell to their pastor, Rev. Craig Yoshihara, and his family, who will begin their ministry at Roswell United Methodist Church in a couple of weeks. For Rev. Yoshihara's unique sendoff, Smyrna United Methodist Church will host "The Blues Bothers Meet Sister Act - A Family Affair" on June 10 at 6 p.m. The Little River Choir and the Friends Band of Washington will be performing familiar tunes with Christian words and a few traditional songs. "This event promises to be a night of fun and Rev. Yoshihara and the community may never recover," Peggy Brown said. The music will be followed by a covered dish supper.
Smyrna UMC is located fivemiles east of Washington on Highway 378.
