Ozzie Bea Norman Walton

Funeral services for Ozzie Bea Norman Walton, 73, were held Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the New Tabernacle Baptist Church, Lincolnton, with Rev. Matthew Harden officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died Monday, May 28, at her home on Gills Point Road, Lincolnton.

Mrs. Walton was a native of Lincoln County and was the daughter of the late Isaac Norman and Roxie Blackwell Norman. She was a member of New Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was a member of the Mothers Ministry and Ushers Ministry and served in many other capacities. She was the widow of Gus Walton Jr. and was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Wesley Bernard Norman, Anthony Deon Walton, both of Lincolnton, and Felix Nolan Walton, Jamaica, New York; two daughters, Valerie Walton Johnson and Felicia Walton Wynn, both of Lincolnton; three brothers, Jesse Norman of Lincolnton, Roy Clifford Norman, Chicago, and Willie Fred Norman, Augusta; a sister, Bertha Norman, Augusta; seven grandchildren, Wesley B. Norman Jr., Delicia S. Walton, Tynell L. Murray, Jessica Y. Wynn, Shanta L. Walton, Kenneth N. Denmark, and Aaron J. Wynn; and a great-grandchild, Jordan A. Middleton.

Pallbearers included Feddor Norman, Craig Norman, Jesse Norman, Eric Norman, Ronnie Norman, Wallis Norman, Justin Norman, and Scotty Cunningham.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
