Clarence Edward Norman

Funeral services for Clarence Edward Norman, 77, of C.E. Norman Road, Lincolnton, were held Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Hephzibah Baptist Church, Lincolnton. Interment was in the church cemetery. He died Saturday, May 26.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mary Elizabeth Maxwell Norman of Lincolnton; three daughters and their husbands, Margaret N. and James Jones, Washington, Shirley N. and Danny Dawkins, and Valerie N. and Ricky Raley, of Lincolnton; a son and daughter-in-law, Clarence E. Norman Jr. and Melissa Norman, and a son, John Peyton Norman, Lincolnton; a brother, William Norman, Lincolnton; a sister, Frances Bryan, Lincolnton; 11 grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren.

Beggs Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
