A day care center in Clayton County has decided to locate near a barbecue restaurant owned by a registered sex offender. The law says a sex offender cannot live or work within 1,000 feet of a day care center. Do you think the sex offender should have to move his business even though he was there first? Why?
"I think that the day care center should be held responsible for their actions, depends on whether they're leasing or buying, but an established business who is following all the rules, even though he is a sex offender, I don't think he should bear the burden of a separate entity's decision to essentially force a law on him that he hasn't broken." BRADLEY BARBER Farmers Market
"I think that he should have to move it even though he was there first because he should be around no kids whatsoever." JANETTE LAND Retired
"Yes, he should move because by law he can't be around any kids." DEMPSEY ALLEN Unemployed
"Yes, basically because if the law says he needs to move, that's the thing we need to go by." MICHAEL MILLS Painting Contractor
