Katie Shelton guest of honor at bridal shower May 27

Katie Shelton, bride-elect of Tucker Hardy, was feted at a miscellaneous shower at the Georgia Baptist Association Mission Center Sunday afternoon, May 27, given by the Special Events Committee of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Miss Shelton was presented a daisy corsage to complement her floral print sundress.

As guests arrived, they signed the bride's book.

Lovely arrangements including gerbera daisies, hydrangeas and Bells of Ireland decorated the tables.

Guests enjoyed cake squares, chicken salad croissants, wings, Graham Cracker-Pecan bars, dip with Tostados and punch.

Decorating the gift table was a wedding cake formed from white towels decorated with flowers.

Twenty guests attended and included the bride-elect's mother, Melissa Shelton; sister, April Shelton; and grandmothers, Linda Shelton and Kitten Fain; also the prospective bridegroom's mother, Joyce Hardy; and aunt, Betty Cosby, all of Washington-Wilkes.
