Wills Memorial Tea and Learn set for June 15 at 2:30 "Taking Care of Yourself" will be the topic of the Wills Memorial Hospital Tea and Learn on June 15, at 2:30 p.m. in the hospital café. Jessica Oliver, LMSW, is the featured speaker. She is originally from Oregon but now calls Augusta home. She began her career by serving in the United States Army for four years. She is a graduate of Augusta State College with a BA in Sociology and holds a masters from the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Oliver's expertise lies in Family Therapy with older adults in different settings. She was the Director of Social Services with a nursing home in Oregon and also with a Drug and Alcohol In-patients program. She has also worked with teenage boys in a residential program and in-patient geriatrics in psychiatry. She began her association with United Hospice in October 2006 and is based in Augusta as a social worker and bereavement counselor. With all these varied experiences, she is well qualified to demonstrate ways that a person can learn how to feel good about themselves and improve the quality of life one leads.
