Messages, music add to revival at Beaverdam Baptist

Adding to Beaverdam Baptist Church's revival messages brought by Rev. John McMillian Jr. and Rev. James Bland were solos by William Morrison, Monday; and Billy Maxwell, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

The arrangement of flowers in memory of Mrs. Fred Corbett, given by her son, Barry Echols, remained pretty throughout revival with some flowers from the arrangement used in an arrangement on the altar table Sunday, June 10. Roses grown by Catherine Callaway and gardenias from Mildred Sisson's yard were also used in decorating the sanctuary.

After the revival service last Wednesday evening everyone gathered in the Clifton Barrett Fellowship Hall for a time of fellowship. Burgundy cloths were on the tables with a lovely vase of summer flowers grown and arranged by Marie Maxwell on the refreshment table which held an abundance of delicious finger foods, punch and colas brought by members. Other hospitality committee members present were Rosie Maxwell and Elaine Mathews.

Members join their pastor, Rev. John McMillian, in extending an invitation to everyone to attend all services at Beaverdam. Sunday School begins at 10:15 a.m. and the worship service follows at 11 a.m.
