Harper's Personal Care residents enjoy visiting with family, friends

Doris Rhodes visited Mrs. Lois Flynt. .Rev. Dale Fincher presented a worship service for the residents and sang with Ouida and Wilber Maney. The residents always look forward to church on Mondays. .James Pritchard from the Church of Christ donated bread to the kitchen for the residents. .Mary and Pat Darden visited Miss Margaret Darden. .The Washington Church of God share a time of singing with the residents on Wednesday. .Sonia Hoffman visited Miss Netta Hoffmann. .Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bradley visited Mrs. Marie Bradley and friends. .Peyton Gill visited his mother, Mrs. Genelle Gill. Oliver Gill also visited. .Mrs. Shirley Davis, and Mike Davis visited Mrs. Shirley Beard. .Bobby Blakey and Shirley St. Claire visited Mrs. Lois Flynt. Mrs. Flynt visited Doris Rhodes Friday. .Albert and Eudora Huyck visited the residents and had singing and a devotional with them. Everybody enjoyed the service and singing. . Tom and Melanie Wells, and Tommy and Debbie Wells visited Mrs. Martha Wells. .Kim Beard and James Beard visited Shirley Beard. .Members of the 4-H Club came to see the residents Thursday. The residents played bingo and received prizes for the winners. They prepared a cookout, serving hamburgers, slaw, potato salad, cake, and tea. Everything was delicious. All of the residents had a great time. We would like to thank the 4-H Club for caring about us and planning all the fun things they do for us. It is so great to see the younger generation wanting to spend time with the older generation. Thanks again and we love you, 4-H'ers. .Mrs. Pete Strother was visited by her granddaughter, Sandra Pope, and Russell and Teresa Burdette. .Barry Rogers visited Jake Maddox. .All the residents hope that Miss Netta Hoffmann, who is in the hospital, will be better soon. .The Washington Church of God donated salad and vegetables to the residents. .Faye Bufford enjoyed an outing with her sister, Donna Bufford. .Mrs. Lois South went on an outing with Jane. .Rose Bennett visited Mrs. Alliene Lunceford. .Mrs. Pete Strother and Helen Ross attended church at Ebenezer Sunday. Mrs. Strother had lunch with Inez Hall and visited Pembroke and Sandra Pope. .Sandra Deese enjoyed a few days with her daughter and had a wonderful visit. .Ronnie, Susie and Hunter Futch visited Mrs. Marie Bradley on her birthday. .Mrs. Pete Strother attended the renewal of wedding vows of her grandson and his wife, Rob and Andrea Strother. .Don and Reba Fletcher, Jesse Maddox's sister and her husband, their son, Raleigh Fletcher, and his nephew and wife, Chuck and Miko Eleventon visited Jake Maddox. Mr. Maddox spent Father's Day with his daughter, Mrs. Barry Rogers, and family. He then went to a cookout at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe House (Barry Rogers' parents.) Guests who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Barry Rogers, Scott and Marie (grandson and wife) Rogers, and Granga. Friends attending were Fred and Judy Marks.
