'Back 2 School' fest set Sat., July 21 at Booker playground

A "Back 2 School Festival" will be held on Saturday, July 21, at the Reese J. Booker Playground on Whitehall Street in Washington.

The activities will begin at 4 p.m.. Included will be balloon rides, dunking booth, four-wheeler rides, sack races, water slides, hoop contests, and fishing games.

The festival is hosted by Sheila Hill, Peggy Jones and family, and the Unity Group. They will be giving away book bags, food, school supplies, clothes, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and other items.

All activities are free and there is no cost to attend.
