Mary Lou Harrison Stewart

Graveside services for Mary Lou Harrison Stewart, 75, of Washington, will be held Thursday, July 12, 2007, at 11 a.m. in Resthaven Cemetery, Washington, with Rev. Terry Casper officiating. She died Tuesday, July 10.

Mrs. Stewart was the daughter of the late Paul Thomas and Fronnie Lou Brooks Harrison and had lived in Wilkes County for 39 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Time Church. She was a former member of Beaverdam Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Harrison Leeman Stewart, Washington; two sons, Timothy Leeman Stewart, Rayle, and Richard Alton Stewart, North Augusta; two daughters, Dianne Elizabeth Stewart Jones, Aiken, S.C., and Alice Patricia Stewart, Washington; a brother, Paul Thomas Harrison II, Madison; a sister, Margaret Welch, Madison; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
