Henry Doriesen

Funeral services for Henry "Big Henry" Doriesen, 75, of Washington were held Friday, June 29, 2007, at Marks Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Lance Pitts officiating. Interment was in Resthaven Cemetery. He died Monday, June 25, at Wilkes Health Care Center.

Mr. Doriesen was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of the late Annie Hogan and Dotson Doriesen.

Survivors include his wife, Daisy M. Doriesen; sons, Stanley, Wesley, and Charles Moss; a daughter, Carlene Dorsey; a brother, Roy Hogan; a sister, Annie Bell Stephens; nine grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers included Cerry Freeman, Billy Wallace, Sonny Sanders, Jimmy Bowman, Willie Sims, and Albert Shank.

Davenport & McLendon Mortuary Inc. of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
