Joshua Campilii

A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Joshua Campilii, fiveyears old, Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls, N.Y. He died Thursday, July 12, in Washington-Wilkes. Interment was in the St. Mary's Cemetery.

Joshua was the son of Douglas Merrill of Ocala, Fla., and Mary Campilii of Washington-Wilkes. He was born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He enjoyed the outdoors and helping with outdoor chores. He also enjoyed horses and the times he went horseback riding. He wanted to be a police officerwhen he grew up and was looking forward to starting school in a few weeks.

Survivors in addition to his parents are his grandparents, Minnie Dul and Rudolph Campilii of Wappingers Falls; and his former stepfather, Robert Lapolla.
