Identity theft
By GARY TOOLE
Several years ago, but it seems like yesterday, the headlines read, "Timothy McVeigh shows no emotion as family members of the victims recall the Oklahoma City bombing of the federal building.

Timothy McVeigh had a smooth young and innocent looking face, not a rough and rugged wretch of a man. He was just a boy that let hate seed in his heart and then let that hate turn him into one of the most notorious killers in the history of this county. Sad! Very sad!

But the great sadness was and still is in the hearts of the ones that lost loved ones in that bombing. Nothing was really accomplished; only a loss of many innocent lives.

In looking back, the lesson to be learned is this. Here in America, don't hate your government or teach your children to hate their government. It's the best you've got. Don't hate your government because it doesn't spend every dime the way you want it to or because you don't like the tax system or don't like the welfare system.

We need to love our country and pray for our government and out leaders or we are going to have a lot more Timothy McVeighs. Can you say amen?
