Armour brothers earn awards at national junior heifer show

Ethan Armour of Rayle exhibited the Class 31 winner at the 2007 American Junior Chianina Association National Junior Heifer Show in Bowling Green, Ky. His brother Jackson was also a winner.

Jackson and Ethan Armour, sons of Denise and Tracy Armour of Rayle, received awards at the 2007 American Junior Chianina Association (AJCA) National Junior Heifer Show (NJHS) held June 30 in Bowling Green, Ky.

The L.D. Brown Agriculture Exposition Center in Bowling Green was host to 150 participants and 230 head of Chi and Chi-influenced cattle from 16 states. The show began with the "Showing for the Roses" on June 25 and concluded on June 30.

Jackson exhibited the Class 47 winner, TR Ms Stella 1CF, a February 8, 2006, daughter of Ankonian Midas 72.

Ethan exhibited the Class 31 winner, TR September E4467S ICM, a September 30, 2006, daughter of Kaboom.

Brett Barber of Channing, Texas, was the judge.
