Madison and Kaitlyn Gillispie of Cocoa, Fla., have returned home after a month's visit with their father, Steve Gillispie, and grandparents, Bill and Jackie Gillispie. Other visitors during the extended holiday week were granddaughter and greatgrandchildren, Christina Pistel, Paige and Cheyenne, of Nashville, Tenn. Mike Carter of Titusville, Fla., was also an overnight guest during the holiday week. lBen and Tammy Echols, Dylan and Taylor, and Gene and Caroline Thornton enjoyed a two-week vacation and Ponce Inlet, Fla. lVisiting during the July 4 week with Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Jones were Mr. and Mrs. Andy Raye, Ashley, Anna, Andrew and Kathryn, of Duluth and Dr. Bob Jones of Macon. lBill and Teresa Bishop visited Saturday with Jimmy, Stephanie and Neely Collum in Rockmart and attended Neely's tee-ball game. They also visited Neil, Kelly and Landon Bishop in Adairsville and all the family enjoyed supper Saturday night in celebration of Bill Bishop's birthday. Sunday they attended the Logan family reunion at Cave Spring. l Jacquelyn Nash Al-Azawi and Dr. Abdulla Al-Azawi, who were married June 26, l957, were treated by their daughter, Nadia, to a fiveday trip to Charleston, S.C., in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary..Highlights of the trip were visits to historical houses and plantations, Fort Sumter, and Patriots Point where they had lunch aboard the carrier, USS Yorktown. l Ruth Manning of Atlanta and Gaylia Raines of Monroe visited Monday with Dr. Sophia Bamford and brought her to Washington where they were joined by Jo Randall for lunch at the Talk of the Town. Each of the four ladies holds the distinction of being a Georgia Mother of the Year. While in Washington the Mothers made a special presentation of books to the Mary Willis Library. lVisiting Norma Hopkins several days last week were Dennis Hopkins Jr. of Fort Worth, Tex., and Joy Goodrick of Marietta. Also stopping by for a visit were Peggy Hopkins Heitmann of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Vernon Hopkins. l Former Washington residents, Tony, Pinkie, Cecilia, Mallory and Olivia Young, enjoyed the weekend with Lawrence and Sandy Burton and Fran Kish.
