Eve Gallo, Taylor Echols honored at eighth birthday party June 28
The girls share a July 9th birthday and chose to share a birthday celebration as well. Eve is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Gallo of Grovetown and Taylor is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Echols of Washington. The pool area was decorated using many items in a Hawaiian theme. The girls greeted their guests as they arrived and joined them in many pool games and activities. After an afternoon of swimming, guests enjoyed pizza, chips and drinks under the covered porch area. Taylor's grandmother, Mrs. Neill Echols of Crawfordville, made Eve and Taylor's birthday cake. She decorated half for Eve and the other for Taylor using artistic images to represent each birthday girl. The cake was made using yellow and chocolate cakes representing the favorites of both girls. Jessica Echols served the cake. Both girls took turns opening their gifts and then returned to the pool for more swimming and playtime with their guests. Colorful beach balls were given as favors to guests as they left the party. Eve and Taylor's invited guests who attended the party were Eve's mother and brother, Lawrence, of Grovetown; Taylor's mother and brother, Dylan, of Washington; Mrs. Gene Thornton, Mrs. Mark Thornton, Laney and Jackson, of Tignall, Mrs. Neill Echols, Jessica Echols, Rana Dodson, Bobbie Peacock, Amber George, Lindsey Moore, Maci Marxson, Ericka Locklear, and Bobbie Welch. Eve's grandmother, Mrs. Earl George, called and wished her granddaughter a wonderful day. Both girls were also treated to other birthday festivities with their families. Taylor and her family celebrated on July 7 at a dinner at Taylor's favorite fishrestaurant, Aunt Catfish's,in Ponce Inlet, Fla. Taylor also en- joyed a "girls only" pampering party with her mother and grandmother, Mrs. Gene Thornton, while at the beach.
Eve celebrated on July 9 with her family as they had dinner at Mayabi's Japanese Steakhouse and playing a round of golf at Putt- Putt in Augusta. Afterwards the family enjoyed a pound cake with chocolate frosting made by Eve's grandmother, Mrs. Earl George. Celebrating with Eve and her parents were her brother, Lawrence. Eve's grandmother called from New Port Richey, Fla., to wish her a happy birthday.
