Lund and Blanchard united in marriage on Sat., June 16
The bride is the daughter of Max Lund of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Kimberly MacLeod of Lake Arrowhead, California. She is the granddaughter of Max and Mildred Lund of San Diego, Calif., and Judith MacLeod and the late Robert MacLeod of Fullerton, Calif. The bridegroom is the son of Christopher and Priscilla Blanchard of Running Springs, Calif. He is the grandson of Regina Blanchard of Martinez, formerly of Washington, and the late Lewis Blanchard and the late Phillip and Charlene Padgett of Kings Mountain, N.C. The wedding party included friends of the couple as well as the bride's sister, Marley Lund and brother, Andrew Lund, both of Lake Arrowhead, Calif., and the bridegroom's sister, Susan Blanchard of San Francisco, Calif., and brother, Lewis Blanchard of Los Angeles, who served as best man. The men in the wedding party wore black tuxedos with red vests and ties while the bridegroom had the black tuxedo with a white vest and red tie. Bridal attendants were attired in red tea-length gowns. The bride was radiant in her strapless gown of white layered organza accented with red satin trim and cummerbund. Her bouquet featured cut flowers in shades of red, orange and yellow. The bridegroom's aunt, Marcia Delany of Washington, accompanied her mother, Mrs. Blanchard, to California for the wedding festivities. For her grandson's wedding Mrs. Blanchard chose a lilac skirt and lilac and teal floral overblouse. Following the ceremony, the wedding party and guests enjoyed a reception at Big Bear.
Mr. and Mrs. Blanchard are presently making their home in Running Springs, Calif.
