A step toward a brighter future
Dr. Mark Melton speaks to his students at the Wilkes Pre-Release Center as they graduate from a 12-week Middle Georgia Technical College course in Business Customer Service Technology. Athens Technical College Vice President Dr. Jerry Barrow was the guest speaker, and encouraged the prisoners to continue their education when they get out. "Your possibilities have just expanded tremendously," he said. "The technical college system opens doors."
