Word Bible Study's 11th annual outreach tent service set Aug. 25 The Word Bible Study Class will have its 11th annual outreach tent service Saturday, August 25, on the vacant lot at 415 Lexington Avenue, Washington. The service will begin at 11 a.m. The theme for the day will be "The Power of Prayer." "We believe in the five-fold ministries," says Clara Sutton, chairman of the event. "Therefore, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers of the gospel and other ministers of the congregations are asked to come and give a fiveto 10 minute mini-sermon. If one soul is saved or restored, then our efforts will not be in vain," Sutton said. Pastor Jesse Blake from the Tower of Refuge Church, Augusta, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker. Church choirs are asked to help render the music for the day.
Those who expect to participate are asked to call Chairman Sutton at 706-678-7636 before August 18 with plans.
