The Augusta GreenJackets and the Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to host the Washington-Wilkes County Community Night on Friday, August 24. Fans will also be treated to the final fireworks show of the 2007 season.

Washington Mayor Willie E. Burns will throw out first pitch and Tourism Director Ashley Barnett will join GreenJackets Broadcaster Nick Barrale in the booth for an inning. "Be sure to stick around after the game for another unforgettable fireworks show with your Augusta GreenJackets," said the team's Jonathan Pribble.

Tickets for a night at the ballpark with the GreenJackets and the Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce start at $6 for General Admission. All group members will receive a free program, free group hat, free parking, and name recognition on the scoreboard and PA system.

Contact Ashley Barnett at 706- 678-5111 before August 23 to purchase your tickets.
