Larry M. Damron

A memorial service for Larry Melbourne Damron, 57, of Washington, will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007, at 11 a.m. in the Ficklen Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ed Rees officiating. He died July 20.

Mr. Damron was a native of Clarke County and was the son of the late Willie T. Damron and Lorena Brock Damron. He was a member of the Winterville Baptist Church and was a residential carpentry contractor.

Survivors include a daughter, Lanora Tiffany Damron, Washington; a brother, Donald Damron, Colbert; a sister, Mildred Bryant, Crawford; and a granddaughter, Mikayla Broome.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
