Broome to provide information on CBF during meeting Aug. 9

Frank Broome, a native of Washington and Coordinator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Georgia, will be speaking in the Mary Willis Library Meeting Room on Thursday, August 9, at 6:30 p.m.

Broome's educational session is for anyone who may be unfamiliar with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, as well as those who desire to become more knowledgeable about this organization.

The public is invited to attend this informative meeting.

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Georgia, based in Macon, is part of the national Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF), based in Atlanta. Both organizations desire to network, empower and mobilize Baptist Christians and churches for effective missions and ministry in the name of Christ. In addition they share a passion for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice.

Anyone interested in learning about this growing organization is invited to attend this presentation and discussion.
