'Physical Therapy for Senior' is Tea and Learn topic

"Physical Therapy for the Senior Citizen" will be the featured topic at the Wills Memorial Hospital Tea and Learn on Thursday, August 16, at 2:30 p.m. in the hospital café.

Karen Smith, PT, and Bobby West, PTA, will be guest speakers for this segment of the Wills Memorial Wellness Program.

Mrs. Smith received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia in l998 and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2001. She resides in Winterville with her husband, David, and their two sons, Patrick and Ben. Her hobbies include gardening, walking, and supporting the UGA football team.

Mr. West, a 19-year resident of Wilkes County, holds an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia. He and his wife Tracy have a daughter, Ashley. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and watching Ashley play fast pitch softball.
