Priscilla Gresham Pitts

Funeral services for Mrs. Priscilla Gresham Pitts, 68, of Rayle, were held Saturday, August 4, 2007, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Lance A. Pitts officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died Saturday, July 28, at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta.

Mrs. Pitts was the daughter of the late Cleave and Liza Mae Gresham. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Aaron Pitts of Rayle; a daughter, Geraldine Bean of Kansas City, Missouri; three sons, Aaron Pitts Jr., Fort Pierce, Fla., Royzell Pitts, and Rev. Lance A. Pitts of Rayle; a brother, James F. Johnson of Philomath; eight grandchildren, Qtisa, Sheena, Jamar, Arstasia, Taharah, Xaqira, Jaylen, and Lance II.

Pallbearers included Leroy Burse, Calvin Wiggs III, Arthur Crew, Larry Brown, Charles Morgan II, and Sam Heath.

Davenport & McLendon Mortuary Inc. of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
