Sin is rampant
By GARY TOOLE
There has always been sin and will always be until the end of time as we know it. But never before in the history of mankind has the whole world been so consumed with sin.

The reason I say "sin" instead of crime is because sin leads to crime. Not all sins are a crime against society. Some are only a crime against one's self, but we all finally feel the affect of the sin of others. We are in this together. As the old saying goes, "no man is an island."

Sin is eating away at the very moral fiber of society like a cancer. Our society is slowly falling apart at the seams. In the history of man, the destruction of societies was from internal moral corruption, a collapse of the moral structure which led to an onslaught of crimes, murders, and deadly diseases.

It is said that you can't legislate morality, but I say you can pass laws to protect and enforce moral codes and give legal incentives toward living more morally. The government's answer to morality is to legalize sinful things and give folks incentives to live immorally. They try hard to separate God's law from man's law but in fact they go hand in hand and the sooner society accepts that the better.

The sins of mankind are destroying us. Can you say amen?
