Engaged couple entertained at shower on July 28

Engaged couple Samantha Armour and Will Callaway were honored at a miscellaneous couples' shower on Saturday, July 28, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Tucker.

Joining the Tuckers in hosting the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Geddings, Mr. and Mrs. Barry Goolsby, Mr. and Mrs. Burt Goolsby and Wilson Long.

Tiki torches, candles and white lights were used in decorating.

Guests were served drinks and an assortment of cheese and crackers as they watched the couple open their gifts.

After gifts were opened, all gathered around the pool for party foods including hot wings, stuffed jalapenos, grilled smoked kielbasa sausage, Mexican cheese cake, fruit and vegetable tray, a chocolate fountain and a variety of mixed dips. Maragaritas, sangria, beer and cokes were also served.

The hosts presented the couple a Georgia Bulldog chip and dip set and a matching black pitcher.

Forty-fivecouples were invited.
