Heather Baston entertained at baby shower held August 4 Heather Baston was feted at a baby shower on Saturday morning, August 4, given by Jillian Andrews and Ashley Barnett of Washington and Larissa Brittingham of North Augusta, S.C. The festive occasion was held at the home of Nancy and Danny Barnett on Sims Street. In honor of the occasion Mrs. Baston was presented a corsage of a "Pouff - I'm Pregnant" doll. A hot pink, light pink and chocolate brown color scheme was used in decorating. As guests were welcomed into the home, they were invited to sign the baby's book on a table in the foyer. Decorating the table was a lighted candle. Guests were invited into the din- ing room for a delicious brunch fare that included ham biscuits, quiche, sausages wrapped in bacon, cream cheese crescents, apple dip and ginger snaps, orange juice, mimosas and water. The table, covered in white, held a beautiful arrangement of green hydrangeas. The hostesses presented the expectant mother a pink and brown bag filled with baby necessities. Instead of an attached card, each gift featured a special book for the baby.
About 60 guests were invited. Special guests included the expectant grandmothers, Sharon Burdette of North Augusta, S. C., and June Baston of Washington; and expectant aunt and cousins, MeLisa Baston Clay, Ashley and Abby, of Macon.
