Phillips Mill to hold homecoming service on Sunday, August 12

Phillips Mill Baptist Church will celebrate 227 years for Christ (1785- 2007) Sunday, August 12, with annual homecoming. All members, former members, and interested friends please feel welcome to take part.

Phillips Mill's pastor, Rev. Robert Rayner, will preach the homecoming message.

This should be a good kick-off for revival services to follow Sunday night through Wednesday night, August 5-8m at 7 p.m.

The Sunday night guest speaker will be Rev. David Jordan, pastor of PenfieldBaptist Church. He plans to bring with him a group of men from PenfieldChristian Home to take part in special music.

Monday night, Charles Drummond, Georgia Baptist Convention Ministries Resource consultant, will preach with Rev. Skip Padgett, pastor of Robinson Baptist Church in Taliaferro County, bringing the special music.

Tuesday night, Rev. Jim Olds, pastor of nearby Bethesda Baptist Church in Greene County, will preach. Our pastor's son, Rev. Steve Rayner, pastor of Rehoboth Baptist Church in the Metasville community, will present the special music.

Rev. Steve Rayner will preach Wednesday night with the Rehoboth Church Choir and Allen Ivey bringing special music. A sandwich supper in the fellowship hall will follow the service.

Please pray for all the services.
