Famous recipes featured in new cookbook edition

The cookbooks are here!

"Tignall's Famous Recipes . . . Past and Present" are available now. They are wonderful and full of history with pictures of Tignall -- past and present -- and recipes from the original cookbook which was printed in 1928; reprinted in 1936, 1951, 1961, and again in 1975; and recipes from 2007.

If you want one of these cookbooks, call Gloria Ware at 285-2058 or Carolyn Gammon at 285-2736. The other members of the North Wilkes Steering Committee will also have the books to sell.

One of these cookbooks was shipped to Delaware and one to Florida this week. They were to the granddaughters of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Warren. Mrs. Warren had recipes in the original cookbook.
