4-Hers taking orders for birthday calendar to raise club funds

Members of the Wilkes County 4-H Club are taking orders for the annual birthday calendar fund-raiser. The orders are for 2008 calendars and are $7.00 each.

The price includes fivelistings of combinations of birthdays and/or anniversaries. Additional listings are $1.00 each and additional calendars are $6.00 each.

The 4-H County Council officersand board members will be selling advertisements to local businesses, giving them an opportunity to get their business name and phone number in front of the community all year long.

Single line directory advertisements are $15 each and block advertisements are $35 each.

The deadline to order calendars is September 7 and the delivery date is mid-December.
