Frederick LaFountain

Graveside services for Frederick LaFountain, 74, of Grovetown, were held Monday, August 13, 2007, at Resthaven Cemetery, Washington, with Rev. Albert W. Huyck Jr. officiating. He died Friday, August 10, at his residence.

Mr. LaFountain was born in Munith, Mich., and was the widower of Emogene Hyden LaFountain. He was retired from the United States Air Force after serving during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include two sons, Rick LaFountain of Grovetown, and Terry LaFountain of Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Charlotte L. Santiago, Madisonville, Ky., and Tina I. Myers, Washington; two sisters, Margaret L. Atkins, and Janet LaFountain; nine grandchildren, and fivegreat-grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Ed Pope Jr., Jimmy Toto, Chris LaFountain, Ricky LaFountain Jr., Randy Palmer, and Carl Howton.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
