Thomas Grier Burton

Mr. and Mrs. Bonner Burton of Gainesville announce the birth of their son, Thomas Grier, on Thursday, August 9, at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Grier, as he will be called, weighed 6 lbs., 1 oz. and was 19 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Mrs. Linda Messick of Chester Springs, Pa., and Frank Messick of Downingtown, Pa. Maternal great-grandparents are Col. (ret.) and Mrs. R. F. Lopes of East Dennis, Mass.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Emory Allen Burton of Washington. Paternal great-grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Moffatt Grier Bonner of Camden, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Burton of Washington.

Mrs. Burton is the former Lindsay Messick of Chester Springs, Pa.

Harley Marie Dornberg

Charles and Jan Dornberg of Washington announce the birth of their daughter, Harley Marie, on Tuesday, August 7, at Trinity Hospital in Augusta. Harley weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 19 ½ inches long. She has two brothers, Brandon, 12, and C. J., two, and a sister, Kayla, seven.

Maternal grandparents are James and Lillie Davis of Washington. Maternal great-grandparents are James and Sarah Davis and Olivia Bruce of Washington and the late Howard and Ann Thaxton of Crawfordville.

Paternal grandparents are Carlton Dornberg and Jan and Kerry Whitener of Lincolnton. Truitt and Dollie Smalley, also of Lincolnton, are the paternal great-grandparents.

Mrs. Dornberg is the former Jan Davis of Washington.

Thomas Edward Hocutt

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hocutt of Indian Trail, N.C., announce the birth of their son, Thomas Edward, on Saturday, August 11, at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. Tommy, as he will be called, weighed 8 lbs. 12 ozs. and was 20 ¾ inches long. He has a sister, Gracie, who is 18 months old.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edward Hassett III of Charlotte, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Emory Hamilton Jr. of Greenville, S.C.

Paternal grandparents are Kermit Hocutt and the late Cynthia Fort Hocutt of Washington.

Mrs. Hocutt is the former Blake Hassett of Greenville, S.C.

Landon Tyler Smith

Keith and Stacey Smith of Washington announce the birth of their son, Landon Tyler, on Friday, August 10, at University Hospital in Augusta. Landon weighed 7 lbs. 13 ozs. and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Don and Judy Jarvis of Lake City, Fla. Maternal great-grandparents are Robert and Doris Senechek, also of Lake City.

Paternal grandparents are Neal and Elizabeth Eason of Woodbine and Dr. G. Kyle Smith of Evans.

Mrs. Smith is the former Stacey Ream of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
