FBC Silver Streaks enjoy trip to Abbeville for lunch, play Aug. 11

The Silver Streaks of First Baptist Church enjoyed a trip to Abbeville, S.C., on Saturday, August 11, where they enjoyed lunch and a play.

The group gathered at the church to board the bus driven by Rev. Chris Townsend.

Their first stop was at Yoder's where they enjoyed the very popular Amish buffet-style restaurant.

After lunch, the group headed to downtown Abbeville where they browsed the shops before heading to the historic Abbeville Opera House to see the hilarious comedy play, "Dearly Beloved".

Thirty members and guests enjoyed the trip and included Travis Armour, Cheryl and W. C. Bentley, Mary Ann Bentley, Margaret Connor, Gail Craddock, Peggy Echols, Lila Edwards, Patricia Edwards, Thomas Fanning, Ruth Holes, Norma Hopkins, Mary Hubbard, Mabel Johnson, Mary Donna Lunceford, Nancy Madden, Rosa Lee Martin, Edythe McCall, Jean Payne, Alton Ray, Doris Smathers, Edward and June Smith, Ann Tanner, Norris and Frances Ware, Emilie Waters, John and Linda Webster, Patsy Winn and Rev. Chris Townsend.
