EMS instructors train coaches for fall sports program

Blake Thompson and Teresa Stockwell of the Washington-Wilkes Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were instructors for a class of 25 coaches Saturday, August 11, who will be participating in the Washington Wilkes Parks and Recreation fall sports program.

The training was in defibrillator and CPR and is required of all coaches.

Attending the class Saturday were Grant Rainey, Tom Stilwell, Roosevelt Cobb, Vincent Wilkinson, Joe Brooke, Marion Tutt Jr., Jermaine Murray, Kenny Sifre, Carrie Johnson, Jacquelyn Davis, Detric Jones, Jontue Cofer, Andy Vasquez, Mario Diaz, Kevin Smith, Todd Reeves, Stephen deShazo, Martha Ware, Logan Ferraro, Pete Gartrell, Mary Acuna, Alex Acuna, Frank Gaye, Melissa Scott, and Jackie Davis.
