Qualifying for candidates set for towns of Rayle, Tignall next week Qualifying for candidates starts Monday morning for the Town of Tignall's November election, when Tignall voters will choose a mayor and fivecouncil members. Similarly, in the Town of Rayle, qualifying will run August 28-30 from 3-5:30 each day at the Rayle City Hall for the officesof mayor and city councilman. Qualifying fees are $35.00 for mayor and $25.00 for council. Candidates in Tignall may qualify next week at the officeof the City Clerk, August 27 through August 31. The officewill be open between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with one hour for lunch from 12 to 1 p.m. Qualifying fees are $35 for the mayor's race, and $25 for city council seats, said Linda Daniel, Clerk.
Polling place for the November 6 election is the Old School Lunchroom.
