Ovarian cancer group sets special program Saturday in Madison

The Georgia Chapter of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition is sponsoring "Dessert with the Doctor" on Saturday, August 25, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Madison-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce.

This special program is intended to provide guidance to women on how to improve communication with their physicians.

The special guest speaker is Dr. Matthew Burrell, MD, FACOG, FRCS, founding partner of Atlantabased Southeastern Gynecologic Oncology. The group specializes in cancers of the reproductive system.

All interested persons are invited to attend this informative and helpful program. The event is free of charge. Light desserts will be offered during this presentation from one of the South's leading experts in women's health. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
