Samantha Armour guest of honor at shower on Aug. 12

Samantha Armour, bride-elect of Will Callaway, was entertained at a miscellaneous bridal shower on Sunday afternoon, August 12, given by Debra Armour, Denise Armour, Tina Boatwright, Adriane Echols, Monica Gunter and Pam Hall in the Sardis Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

In honor of the occasion Miss Armour was presented a corsage in orange and pink to accent her red and black plaid sundress.

The bride-elect's wedding colors of pink and orange were used in decorating.

As guests arrived, they registered at a table covered in pink and overlaid in lace. A small basket held an arrangement of spring flowers.

Delicious refreshments of cake, chicken salad with croissants and crackers, fruit, sausage balls, pecan sandies, chips and dip and punch were served from a table covered in white and decorated with a beautiful spring arrangement.

White lace over pink covered the gift table also adorned with a spring basket arrangement.

Large ferns on stands around the fellowship hall completed the decorations.

Guests included ladies of the church, family and friends. Special guests included the bride-elect's mother, Angela Armour, and grandmothers, Linda Echols and Rubye Armour; and the prospective bridegroom's grandmothers, Betty Blackmon and Catherine Callaway.
