Samantha Armour honored at miscellaneous bridal shower

Samantha Armour, bride-elect of Will Callaway, was honored at a miscellaneous shower at the home of Mrs. Jimmy Tanner. Co-hosting with Mrs. Tanner were Mrs. Jamie Barnett and Mrs. Nathan Pearson of Milledgeville.

For the occasion Miss Armour wore a black shirt with green polka dots and denim Capri pants. She was presented a corsage of white daisies.

The dining room table, covered in pink and centered with an arrangement of fresh cutflowers, held delicious refreshments that included sandwiches, Southwestern dip and chips, cheese straws, fresh fruit, cheesecake and party punch.

The hostesses presented Miss Armour with the serving pieces in her flatware.

Thirty-fiveguests were invited. Special guests attending were the bride-elect's mother, Mrs. Greg Armour; grandmother, Mrs. Buck Echols; great-grandmother, Mrs. Mit Callaway; the prospective bridegroom's grandmothers, Mrs. Tom Blackmon and Mrs. Herbert Callaway, all of Washington-Wilkes.
