Rosemary Hopkins guest of honor at birthday celebration

Rosemary Talbert Hopkins was honored on her 60th birthday at a surprise celebration given by her children, Missy and Dodd Worley of Lafayette and Johnsy Hopkins, also Kermit Hocutt, on Saturday evening, August 18.

Festivities were held upstairs at The Washington Jockey Club.

The party room was festively decorated with black balloons, birthday banners and ferns.

A delicious assortment of party foods was enjoyed during the evening. The dessert table featured a stacked Candy Bar Cake topped with "60." Also enjoyed were Elvis' Favorite Pound Cake and Lemon Cake.

Eighty guests were invited. Outof town family members attending were grandchildren, Collier and Ashton Worley of Lafayette; her mother, Rose Talbert of McCormick, S.C., her brother and sister and families, Johnny and Linda Talbert of Waycross and Marion and Nancy Talbert Moore and Haley of Greenwood, S.C.; and cousins, Mike and Pam Reese of Augusta.
