Natalie Sutton entertained at shower held at Woman's Club Bride-elect Natalie Sutton was feted at a miscellanous bridal shower on Saturday morning, August 18, at the Woman's Club. Hostesses for the occasion were Linda Griggs, Mary Katherine Dyson, Rita Verdery, Morgan Verdery, Vicki Burk, Florence Sandifer, Jennifer Bailey, and Pat Tippins, grandmother of the bride-elect, all of Washington. Miss Sutton, whose marriage to Douglas Pullen will be an event of September 23,wore a white skirt and black and white striped top. She was presented a corsage of orange heliconia, green button chrysanthemums, and olive miniature anthuriums. The colors of the wedding, burnt orange, turquoise and olive green, were used in decorating throughout the clubhouse. A single-stemmed burnt orange blossom graced a vase of glass rocks and decorated the register table. Centering the refreshment table was a beautiful floral arrangement in the wedding colors. Delicious party foods and punch were served. Woman's Club Douglas Pullen joined his prospective bride in opening gifts.
Other special guests included the bride-elect's mother, Debbie Sutton of Fort Worth, Tex.; the prospective bridegroom's mother, Dianne Pullen, and grandmother, Hilda Sandifer, both of Washington.
