l Martin and Janet Burgess were joined by their daughters and grandson, Molly Burgess of Athens and Mandy Marable and Jack Durham of Watkinsville, in spending several days with their daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, Maria, Joel and Scout Walker in Dallas, Tex. l Betty Reese returned home last Monday after enjoying several days with her sister, Sara Frances Henderson, and family in the Beulah Community. l Weekend guests of Rosemary Hopkins were Dodd, Missy, Collier and Ashton Worley of Lafayette. lVisiting during the weekend with Gary and Dean Mansfieldwere Gene and Linda Fender of Carrollton. lKay Bray has returned home after spending several days in Lawrenceville with IV and Gabby Bray, Will, Marshall and infant daughter, Emily. lWeekend guests of Ira and Ann Tiller were Quincy, Jessica and Abby Tiller of Acworth. lVisiting during the weekend with Buzzy and Jo Randall were Lyn Randall and Bill Cannon of Tybee Island. lBill and Teresa Bishop were in Rockmart last weekend visiting Jimmy, Stephanie and Neely Collum and in Adairsville with Neil, Kelly and Landon Bishop. While there they joined in celebrating Landon's fifth birthday at Treasure Island. lRecent guests of Steve and Eleanor Blackmon were Phillip, Carol, and Bradley Blackmon of Columbus. lSparky and Mary Newsome were Friday overnight guests of Mrs. Newsome's mother, Faye Maloney, in Doraville. On Saturday they were joined by children, Lizzie and Molly Newsome of Athens and Daniel Newsome of Seneca, S.C., other family members and a host of friends at Bogan Park Community Center in Buford for a birthday celebration honoring Mrs. Maloney. lEdward and Susan Pope enjoyed several days last week in Savannah and Tybee Island.
