Marilyn Elizabeth Flint Campbell

A memorial service for Marilyn Elizabeth "Betty" Flint Campbell, 52, of Lincolnton was held Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at the First Assembly of God, Lincolnton, with Rev. Michael Catlett, Rev. Terry Bonds, and Rev. Lanis Lewis officiating. She died Sunday, August 26, at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital, Augusta.

Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late Luther Emory Flint and the late Marilyn Paschall Flint. She was employed by the Warren County Board of Education as a music teacher at Mildred E. Freeman Elementary School. She was a beloved music teacher for over a decade at the Lincoln County Elementary School and was a member of the First Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband, Philip Campbell; and two daughters, Anna Campbell and Faith Campbell, both of Lincolnton.

Mrs. Campbell's former music students served as honorary pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mildred E. Freeman Elementary School Music Fund, 93 Hopgood Street, Warrenton, GA 30828.

Rees Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
