Mary Elizabeth Dorr marries Franchot A. Brown II Aug. 11
The bride is the daughter of Gregory Dorr of Savannah and Linda Brown of Pensacola, Fla. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brian S. Brown of Washington. He is the grandson of Franchot A. Brown of Columbia, S.C., the late Marian Reese, Mrs. Barbara Cain and the late Jimmy L. Cain and great-grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bell of Washington. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dorr, and escorted by Mr. Dorr. The reception with a wishing well was celebrated following the ceremony. The couple has plans for a belated wedding trip and will reside in Savannah.
The bride currently attends USCAiken where she is majoring in Biology. Her bridegroom is attending Armstrong Atlantic State University where he is majoring in Physical Education-Health Science.
