Washington Personal Mention

Mrs. Wallace Rodgers enjoyed the weekend in Warrenton with Mr. and Mrs. James Myers. Also visiting the Myers were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Myers of Valdosta.

Visiting Saturday with Mrs. Charles Reese were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Reese of Augusta.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Tyler of Dunwoody visited Sunday with his mother, Mrs. James Tyler. 

Mrs. Paul Laymon of Hixson, Tenn., enjoyed a weekend visit with her mother, Mrs. E. E. Pasco.

Mrs. David Blackburn joined her children, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Blackburn and Anabelle of Dallas, Tex., for the week at Hilton Head, S.C.

Rich, Sarah and Amelia Johnson of Athens were Sunday overnight guests of Steve and Eleanor Blackmon. 

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Hopkins Jr. of Fort Worth, Tex., visited during the weekend with their mothers, Mrs. Dennis Hopkins and Mrs. W. A. Drinkard.

Mrs. Helen Bentley of Martinez visited Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Wood Hardy. Visiting Mrs. Hardy Monday was her daughter, Mrs. Dianne Bentley of Lincolnton. 

Recent guests of Mrs. Robert Wallace were Mr. and Mrs. Theron Wallace of Conyers.

Mr. and Mrs. Phil Oliver, Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Solomon and Belle and Tiffany Oliver of LaGrange and David Cole of Milledgeville were weekend guests of Mrs. Frank Story at her lake home. Joining the family Saturday for a birthday celebration honoring Mrs. Story were Mrs. Olin Miller and Elizabeth Miller of Watkinsville, Mrs. Josie Walker of Greenwood, S.C., and Jacquelyn Johnson.

Mr. and Mrs. David Hunter have returned from a week's trip to Grand Rapids, Mich., where he attended the 104th Rural Letter Carriers Convention. While in the area they visited Holland, Mich., enjoying the beautiful windmills and bulbs, the beaches of Lake Michigan, the resort town of Saugatuck, Mich., and the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and his gravesite on the Grand River. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Joe Goldman of Lincolnton also attended the convention and the ladies enjoyed many other sights while the men were in meetings. 

Doug Tyler was an overnight guest Friday of his mother, Mrs. Richard Tyler.
