Getting shiny for the Cruise-In
Garston Townsend puts the last-minute elbow grease on his family's flivver, a Model A pickup, before Saturday's Fall Cruise-In on The Square. The Cruise-In is open to antiques, hot rods, muscle cars and collectibles, and there's a $7 registration fee. Admission is free to the public, and there will be food, prizes, and music from Tommy Landrum's Cruzin' to the Oldies. Memory Lane Cruisers uses the profitsfrom the Cruise-Ins to donate to various causes in the county.
