'Washington Follies' rehearsals underway for fall production

Rehearsals are underway for the Washington Little Theater Fall production, "The Washington Follies."

Showcasing the talents of about 75 people from Washington and surrounding areas, the show will have singing, dancing, comedy, a "Personality Parade," and a few surprises. The show is directed by Jo Randall.

Shows are Friday, October 5, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, October 6, at 3 p.m.; and Sunday, October 7, at 3 p.m. For reservations for the show only, call the Little Theater reservations line at 706-678-9582. GALA

Following the Saturday afternoon performance, The Washington Little Theater Company will host its annual Gala at The Fitzpatrick Hotel Ballroom on The Square at 5 p.m.

Lonnie Martin is decorating the ballroom, and Chefs Kermit Hocutt and Henry Bowen are providing refreshments.

Reservations for the Gala must be made by sending a check for $7.00 to Jo Randall, P.O. Box 402, Washington, GA 30673, before September 24. These reservations are separate from the reservations for the show. Gala tickets will be mailed.
