Dairy farmers set district meeting Friday, Sept. 14

Dairy farmers of the Wilkes County area will hold their district meeting Friday, September 14, at the McGill-Woodruff Agricultural Center in Washington, beginning at 12 p.m. Announcement was made by Emory Young, president of the American Dairy Association of Georgia.

The American Dairy Association of Georgia and Georgia Milk Producers will host this district meeting in an effort to bring information to dairy farmers that will be useful to them in the coming year.

There will be a short promotion report as well as lots of good food and door prizes. Dairy producers are urged to contact their local director or call the ADA of Georgia officeat 1-800-343-4693.
